In the summer of 2026, I graduated from the Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam. At the same time, I obtained a master's degree in Cognitive Neuroscience at Radboud University, in my hometown of Nijmegen. My artistic practice is therefore often informed by my theoretical understanding of perception.

In my practice, I try to closely observe the mechanisms through which perception generates reality. An internal landscape I move through slowly and attentively, like a naturalist in search of birds.

My works are companions within this internal geography. They witness and anchor what might otherwise disappear. Miniscule, fleeting visions that rarely survive outside the self. I make figures, videos, and other manifestations that hold onto those perceptions, to keep them from deflating and collapsing the moment you look away.

In the coming period, I'll be actively searching for collaborations, opportunities and projects that work at the intersection of science and art, as well as developing my autonomous artistic practice. Do not hesitate to contact me.
